We created a map for your parking needs that outlines all of the parking available by ChacoWest! Many of you were used to parking along Alaska Street while visiting us, and with the Rapid Ride bus taking over those spaces. Never fear- there is a lot of available parking in the neighborhood! (After all, this isn’t Capitol Hill.)
From Alki Beach:
Head northeast on Alki Trail for 3.4 miles. Turn right toward Harbor Ave SW. Ride less than 100 ft and turn left onto Harbor Ave SW, and continue onto SW Avalon Way. Turn left onto 36th Ave SW, go a tenth of a mile and turn right onto SW Snoqualmie St. A quick turn left on 37th Ave SW, and then you arrive to SW Alaska St! We are on 38th and Alaska in the Link building, next door to Bright Horizons Childcare and the Lien Animal Clinic.
From Downtown Seattle (3rd and Pike):
You will probably want to look at this map and detailed directions if you are not familiar with the biking trek between downtown Seattle and West Seattle. There is quite a bit of construction taking place on Spokane Street, and around the West Seattle bridge area. Please be careful and wear your helmet!
Bicycle parking: There is a bike rack by the main entrance of the Link building, on the West side. Easy schmeasy.
There are a plethora of bus routes that service ChacoWest! The 22, 37, 54, 55, and the new Rapid Ride C-line will all drop you off right at Fauntleroy and SW Alaska, and you just have to walk a block to 38th and Alaska to arrive at the café!If you want to hop off at the junction, the 773 is another option for you, and you would just need to walk east about 4 blocks to our front door.
